These poems are some of my favorites!

I feel a little jumpy around you.
Like when I think a house has
roaches, and I watch everything
out the corner of my eye to see
if it crawls away...

I want to be that butterfly
You're willing to chase for hours
in hopes to be near such beauty
for at least the tiniest moment.
I want to be that smell
that one that's on your pillow,
the one you can't get rid of.
I want to be that book,
the one you've read a million times,
but it never really gets old.
I want to be that song,
the one you hear and cry
because it's so perfect for you
and your unique life.
I want to be that warm soup,
the one you drink and suddenly
you feel all warm inside.
But of all the things
this world has to offer,
what I really want to be is

I want to be your girl

so I'll always be in your arms
and I'll always remind you of
all of the beautiful things
in this world.

slowly the dawn breaks
through the trees.
the chilly mountain air
encourages us to    s  l  i  d  e
that much closer.
Birds singing us "Good Morning"
Dew glistening with innocence.
And then,
   you      kiss      me.

Just another one of those
Kodak(R) moments...

As I see these places whizzing by-
beautiful landscapes
rolling hills
blossoming flowers
birds soaring
glittering lights
the big cities at night,
the stars and lights
       twinkling
as bright as your       eyes
the waterfalls,
dancing in the rain,

enjoying every moment
....
it makes me elated,
because it's all just so beautiful

                   just like you.

Please,
don't let the warmth be like you,
I like it
just where it's at ....
